JHNA Chief Executive Officer



Ian is the CEO of JHNA and leads the firm’s strategic direction, revenue growth, and operations. He is an experienced business leader with strong people leadership, finance, M&A, and strategy credentials. Throughout his career he has led business transformation efforts for organizations ranging in size from $200m to $5m in annual revenue. He has 20+ years of transformation focused operational and consulting experience including development of acquisition strategy and integration. 

Some of his career highlights include: Direct involvement of the acquisition strategy of over 10 large M&A deals including an $18.6B acquisition; strategic and financial analysis for a major bank’s divestment of its fund management business; Led development of strategic plan and operating model for a $150m wealth management firm; Led major turnaround for $80m real estate business that included development of both a strategic and tactical plan; Led the strategic plan development for a $20m government contractor resulting in lower overhead costs, increased focus on business development, and an understanding of the business’s critical drivers. 

Ian is a US Army veteran and holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the US Military Academy.
