About JHNA: Overview

JHNA John H. Northrop & Associates, Inc. is a technical consulting service providing unique, creative and innovative products and services to both the Federal government and private sector companies at the forefront of new technology development. We have extensive experience developing products for approval and use by the user community. Established in 2001, JHNA currently has 25 full-time consultants, as well as agreements for part-time support with several other subject matter experts and former General officers.

JHNA is a privately owned company with its home office located in Burke, Virginia. The company owner and President, John H. Northrop, has served as the Executive Director since he founded the company in 2001. Currently, our consultants are providing services from many locations across the United States. Some work at the customer's business site while others support customers from small, local offices.

JHNA is your warfighter to engineer interface. We specialize in providing technical consulting in the realms of military equipment, aerospace equipment, and military weapons engineering. Our consultants understand both current and future operational environments and are experienced in both the DoD capability requirements generation process and the systems engineering process. This expertise allows us to develop concepts, conduct analysis, and create products that help translate warfighter needs into system requirements and foster understanding between engineers and users. While we work in many technology areas, we have extensive expertise in the tactical and operational use of robotic assets in current and future military force structures. Our clients have validated our value by continuing to hire us for follow-on efforts.
