10001. Automated Data Systems Trainer

Minimum Security Clearance Requirement: ADP II Clearance

General Training Task Requirements: The trainer will provide user and operations training for systems software and architectural components to personnel within United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Recruiting Battalions. Training may be delivered by classroom training, online tutorials, Computer-based training (CBT), and/or other tools as specified by the Government. Activities that apply to user and operations training requirements include, but are not limited to, development of training plans, training materials, mechanism; delivery of training to personnel; and maintenance of training materials. The user may be military, civil service employee, contractor, and/or other commercial vendors. Training Team members will be located permanently, i.e. live near the specific Recruiting Battalion Headquarters they primarily support, but will have to travel as needed to support organizations within the recruiting battalion territory.

Required experience and skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communications, including effective presentation skills for small (one-to-one) and large (200 student training events) audiences
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated client commitment for above and beyond service
  • Strong client facing skills
  • US citizen with DOD ADP-II Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Must have demonstrated ability to prepare written documents
  • Must have the ability to effectively develop, coordinate and deliver training plans
  • Must have the ability to effectively train as many as 30 proprietary and commercial software applications, and to quickly learn new applications and changes to existing applications in order to effectively train.
  • Optimum candidates will have a minimum of one year direct experience with the Army Information Support System recruiter laptop applications and report functionality.

Compensation

Total Compensation: Approx. $50,000.
