Title: MOUT Industry Research and Development (IRD) Assessment

Summary: From May, 2001 to November, 2001 JHNA provided technical support for a Military Operation in Urban Terrain (MOUT) Industry Research & Development effort with Raytheon. The support provided by the company's consultants included participation in a MOUT assessment of small unit command control, organic and external lethality systems as well as sensors and sensor systems relevant to the soldier. JHNA developed concepts for use in a multi-phased instructive scenario depicting advanced tactics of FCS-equipped forces using unmanned systems.

Deliverables: JHNA's final products included a technical report and detailed briefing to the US Army Infantry School, the US Marine Corps Systems Command, and the US Army Training and Doctrine Command Headquarters.
