Systems Engineering and Requirements Analysis
JHNA also conducts system Requirements Analysis and System Engineering support. Our process leverages existing operational concepts, assesses current and projected threat environment, and analyzes user system performance expectations. These requirements are often cataloged by functional area and key capabilities. We work with the user community to develop clear performance parameters with analytically supportable threshold and objective values. Similarly, we work with industry to translate performance expectations and tactical behaviors of systems into terms more meaningful to engineers. We have worked on requirements decomposition and Systems Engineering related requirements analysis efforts for the ANS, ARV, UACO, Excalibur and OAV efforts. JHNA adds value anywhere to the formal requirements documentation process, from supportive authoring of JCIDS documents to assessing and refining existing documents. Part of our effort includes facilitating harmonization and socialization within the sponsoring Service or agency as well as among the joint community and user. In the end, the customer is equipped for informed managerial action and for oversight office, Service, JROC and DAB scrutiny.
