Training
JHNA currently provides training in several areas.
JHNA conducts training seminars that teach the basics of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) Requirements Process and the DoD Acquisition Process so that managers and engineers have a functional understanding of how they work. These seminars will help attendees understand paths to successfully enter the government acquisition arena and how the DoD determines which technologies it will fund. The training also explains how capability requirements are generated and what requirements documents are necessary at the different acquisition process decision milestones.
JHNA is currently providing training and operational support for the America's Army Future Soldier Trainer (FST), and other America's Army game assets, to recruiting units across the country. We are helping the US Army Recruiting command integrate FST into recruiting exhibits and events hosted by recruiters to leverage the popular America's Army video game. The FST is a dynamic and engaging video game exhibit that incorporates laser equipped mock-ups of current individual weapons and a 3D environment based on the America's Army game engine. A robust suite of multimedia capabilities and internet capability ensure the recruiters have a complete set of tools to assist them in engaging target market recruits. JHNA associates Bo Scott and Rob Lee combine extensive recruiting experience and familiarity with the architecture of the Army game to bring on-demand technical and marketing assistance to recruiters and advertising and public affairs personnel.

JHNA Battalion Applications Trainers (BATs) are training Army recruiters to use the software applications in the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) in several different recruiting battalions across the United States. Almost all of our BATs have extensive military service with recruiting and training backgrounds. Their excellent training helps Army recruiters better use automation to more efficiently meet their recruiting mission goals.
